SrokaSounds - Sroka03

Track Listing for Sroka03 - also via Bonfire Radio

A tracklisting that seems to imply that I'm a road-junkie with a skewed view on relationships, that I might be known to enjoy things to excess but that I'm glad to have my mates. Hmmmm. The A13 & Attila The Stockbroker may well be returning for an "Essex Special" at some point.

Freedom Road
The Divine Comedy, (Absent Friends)
A13, Trunk Road to the Sea
Billy Bragg (Life's a Riot with Spy v Spy)
Autonomy Boy
Long Blondes (download via WFMU)
Vampire Husband
Shelly Stuart & The All Stars (I Like Yellow Things (WFMU)
No Children
The Moutain Goats (Tallahassee)
Thank You Friends
Big Star  (Third/Sister Lovers)
Too Drunk To Fuck
Nouvelle Vague (download)
You Make Me Feel Like I'm on LSD
Lupine Howl (download)
Too Happy
Things In Herds (I Can Dancing & Walking)
The Liggers Song Attila The Stockbroker (download)
Bad Old Man Babybird (Something's Going On)

Highlight Tracks: It would be a cop out to say all of them so Freedom Road got there because it is so descriptive - Divine Comedy have the twisted perspective on things that I appreciate and A13 was an easy link (plus I have to drive it every day). Thank You Friends was a bit of sentimental nonsense as a good friend had left work and I owed a lot to them. The Liggers Song was a gem to find, since I was convinced that it was a word more widely used than it was seeing as I use it regularly so this was a useful resource + ATSB is the dogs! But if I had to choose one, then You Make Me Feel Like I'm on LSD since it sounds like it sound be about drugs, but isn't.
